Learning aid, not a guarantee

Sprichst is a study tool. We work hard on the lessons, but we cannot promise that you will reach a particular level, pass a particular exam, qualify for a visa or a job, or learn within a certain time. Results depend on your effort and circumstances.

AI answers can be wrong

The tutor's corrections, explanations, translations and example sentences are produced by a language model. It can make mistakes, invent rules, miss context, or sound more confident than it should. Small on-device models are less accurate than large ones. Check anything important with a teacher, a dictionary, or a grammar reference. Do not use the tutor for legal, medical, financial, immigration or safety decisions.

Exams and brands

"Goethe-Zertifikat" is a mark of the Goethe-Institut e. V. "TestDaF" is a mark of the TestDaF-Institut. "telc", "ÖSD" and other exam names belong to their owners. Sprichst is not affiliated with, authorised by, or sponsored by any of them. We use their names only to say which exam our practice material is aimed at. Mock exams, scores and "readiness" figures are our own estimates, not official results. Always check the current format, rules and scoring with the exam provider.

Levels

CEFR levels (A1 to C1) are a framework of the Council of Europe. Our level labels are our own assessment and do not replace an official certificate.

Speech and pronunciation

Speech recognition and text-to-speech are automated. A voice that sounds natural may still pronounce a word incorrectly, and a recogniser may mishear you. Listen to native speakers as well.

Third-party services and links

The app relies on services such as Google Firebase and, optionally, AI providers. We are not responsible for their availability or their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control the content of websites we link to.

No professional advice

Nothing in the app is legal, tax, medical, financial, psychological or immigration advice.

Availability and loss of data

Your learning data is stored in our cloud database, but we cannot rule out loss. Use Account → Privacy & data → Export my data to keep your own copy.
